Erik Dean Farms is owned and operated by Erik Dean.  Our family has been farming for over 50 years.  We have expanded over the years and now grow mainly field corn and soybeans.   



Erik grew up on the home farm, graduated from Buffalo Lake-Hector High and joined the Army National Guard unit located in Olivia, Minnesota.  Erik received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls as well as a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State Universty.  Erik worked for Olsen Custom Farms, LLC, a custom harvester based in Hendricks, MN before being called to service with the Army for Operation Iraqi Freedom.  After returning from Baghdad, Iraq, Erik and his folks have initiated the farm transition process from one generation to the next.
